It's gotten real dark, too dark to keep my eyes open and see what is actually in front of me, and I refuse to be willfully blind, sooo it's Good Night from me

That seems a very dark way to say good night. Try to remember that the Sun also rises and that the darkest part of the night happens just before the break of dawn
