Anyone who thinks the convention of the state's is a good idea. Needs to think real hard about what it could really mean in the long run. Each state could be like a seperate country deviding more. What does that really mean? We would be weaker for one. And so much more.

The original form of government was individual , sovereign countries , in confederation . They formed a private corporation for the purpose of administering their mutual commercial affairs . That corporation outgrew it's cage and became an apex predator . It prowls unchecked because people want this corruption

If we give power back to the states what laws can thay create or what freedom can thay take away?
Sharia law in one state what if your family is in that state if it is passed? I'm in Michigan my children are not.
Gun right's some yes other's no
Gender/ gay rights
Like the law passed in Oregon i have a child with Down syndrome I'm 49 she is 25 if i live under a state law that does not allow her bother or sister out of state to take her in will she starve to death?
This is not FEARMONGERING!!!
THESE ARE UNFORESEEN QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ASKED TODAY.
OUR FOUNDING FATHER'S COULD NOT SEE THE FUTURE THEY DESPERATELY TRIED TO PRESERVE IT. BUT IT'S ON US TO FOLLOW THROUGH.
if you don't Question everything you are walking into everything without purpose

I think the original intention was that each state is more or less independent and the fed was supposed to make sure states didn't trample each other

You are fearmongering. Here is some actual information for anybody who cares to be educated on the subject:

Never accuse someone of something if you do not know that is their intent. Accusations or very harmful to many people.
I am pointing out that there are reasons to reseach this more then just saying just do it.
And since your for the convention to call me fearmonging is a interesting way to approach someone who is not kinda like shout down of views and opinions and thoughts? Shareing a video from your view is one sided information we get that all day long but thank you

I asked this Question of the people who are for the convention of the states and got blocked.
If the STATE'S have the best interest of the PEOPLE in mind more the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT then why are they not takeing the time to ask the people their opinion, or if they want a CONVENTION OF THE STATE'S HELD?
This would dely thing by a month and harm no-one and give the people the voice that we our said we should have as well as the right to choice who will represent each state at the convention. I don't see no flaw in my Question or a legit reason not to try and answer.

@Guido_Provolone true but do you see the all the laws that are passed? And not yet infoced?

I think our founding father's did a outstanding job protecting but i believe many need to look back at the article under that they are calling for the convention. And remember that we should remember history as not to repeat it.

A convention of the states is another interesting oversight provision in our constitution. As good as our system was at creation the founders knew the quest for power and control would corrupt and unbalance it. The desire was to keep Boston, Philly and New York from dominating the politics and taking power. In Europe all power was in the capitals in the hands of the elites or just royalty. The design in our system was to bring the surfs into the mix. Today corruption abounds. Illegals vote as dead citizen or with recycled social security numbers and false addresses giving unfair advantage to the corrupt parties that create this. A convention could be volatile but if it could secure Term Limits, 9 as the set Number of SOTUS justices, 18 as the age to vote, citizen voting with photo id and biometric id, outlaw sanctuary cities and a walled secure southern border!

I thought about that much myself. While I'm no fan of the Feds, can't say I care for the states either.

How are we going to storm the CAPITAL STATE'S to over take government if need be?

@Guido_Provolone easily put truth

@Guido_Provolone i have a clue who runs the government and that is a must know

@Guido_Provolone yet no-one can answer my simple Question

@Guido_Provolone and you think that is we the people?

@Guido_Provolone no but if you look into the fact that laws passed that the people really want passed are not laws the people want you will see that we no longer run the government.

@Guido_Provolone i vote very well thank you and this is what needs to be done not the convention education
