I’m not the least bit surprised. We just had a personal run in with amazon and censorship. Long story short, when confronted by some shady price switching tactics, our account was preemptively blocked from making product reviews of any kind, for “community guideline violations”. For what, asking customer service about their business practices? All written correspondence surrounding the incident, between our account and customer service, was subsequently wiped, by them as well.

And we invite this entity into our homes, to listen in on our everyday lives. Terrifying!

Holy crap!! This is following what Hitler did with the literal burning of any books he disagreed with. Hitler used this as a measure of controlling the minds of the German citizens. If anything was available that was opposing to Hitler, he destroyed it, books, statues, history and people. Hitler had taken contol of the media and installed a pro German, pro Nazi propaganda machine. Any of this sound familiar? It should, we are staring at it here in this Republic.
