As long as the same people are the only ones running for office, and as long as they think, the only way to win is by raising and spending ridiculous sums of money, and as long as they think, the only place to get ridiculous sums of money, is from big business, nothing is going to change, not really. They pay their bills with our tax money, but they don't answer to us, because it wasn't our money that got them elected.
If we want to take our gov't back we have to fix this problem.

We vote two party but it is not two party that runs the government!

I'll accept this line of complaint as long as you know about open secrets and have used it before voting for your politician. Further, if I want to donate to a politician I should be allowed to. Takes a lot of money for anyone to hear about these idiots.

Now that is an issue I can agree with you on. A decent first step perhaps would be for us Americans to break free from the current two-party monopoly, as both Democrats and Republicans have sold us out. Libertarian Party anyone?

Do you know what the avg. congressman spends on a campaign. 1.8 million dollars. I looked up my congressman, he got around 165,000 votes, which means he spent about $10 bucks a vote. he should have just rode around downtown handing out $20, probably got the same result without the work. I have a plan here, I'm going to let it out a little at a time
