You truly dodged a bullet there my friend. I have found very few liberals who are able to separate their Trump hate from the totality of their lives. Everything is seen through the prism of that hate and it is so strong that if you support Trump you must be hated as well. Look at the comments from anti trumpers. Are there reasoned arguments against his policies or just ad hominem attacks and unsupported accusations? Liberals don't try to reason as they can't...the emotional hate overload completely negates their ability to do so . There was never going to be a relationship with this woman because she would never have respected your opinion, so she never would have respected you. My suggestion, for what it's worth, is to find a special person who has an open mind. It won't matter if that person is Dem or repub, lib or con if the person can listen to your side and, even if she doesn't agree, can respect that you have a opinion that is just as valid as hers. Good luck with the search, they are out there but you might have to go through a lot of weeds to find the Rose.

Then she told me she was a teacher..a warning bell went off but I stayed frosty! Then after a week of talking on the phone, we went to meet and she asked me about the border! And what did I think should be done,I said build a wall and stop illegal immigration! LOL! She reacted like I punched her in the Heart! And said she could never see or talk to me again!LOL!
