Been saying for years that letting states or cities accept illegals reflects on the 10th amendment reserving all rights to the states, etc not specifically mentioned in the bill of rights. And gives those states the right to build industry, etc on the labor supplied. Could Kansas be a manufacturing hub based on accepting illegals?

I agree to caution, as giving states that could open a can of worms. I also think sanctuary cities or states should do so without federal assistance. They deserve to learn from their own stupidity, but we've been played by our politicians. They should be the ones doing the paying.

So the national government has no Constitutional power to control the border?

How far should we allow nullification of federal law go? As far as, South Carolina took it back in the 1850's?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a firm believer in states' rights. I just don't think immigration policy has ever been one of those since the adoption of the Constitution.
