At FOX town hall, Bernie Sanders still can't explain how he's paying for "Medicare for all"...
[thefederalist.com]

Sanders doesn't have a health care plan, so much as a branding strategy for one. Medicare is very popular, but it's already bankrupting the nation.

Dr Ben Carson has a health care plan figured out that I heard him talk about some time ago. I hope to hear him again soon. He is a very smart man.

Socialized medicine isn't as good as it is thought to be. We already have a closed off example aka VA health care which has shown it's issues.

Overall its not bad until you have something your doctor doesn't take seriously. A referral in the system takes the appropriate forms which is dictated by your primary, which has incentives to keep costs low.
So by it's very design it creates flaws.

So much needs to be fixed about our medical system before cutting a check to make Medicare for all feasible. To not address these, it might even remove the incentive structure that encourages doctors to work hard and go into debt to become doctors in the first place.
Insurance, drug, and regulation reform needs to happen first, so doctors don’t need to pass the bill onto the consumers
