Been thinking a little bit about this. What would my reaction be if Mecca was hit by a natural disaster? Probably apathetic. Or the Taj Mahal? A little miffed. But if the minarets at the Hagia Sophia came down I'd probably be cheering due to the history of that place. Now if a fault struck through the center of the Dome of the Rock I'd be bunkering down.

I think most people would be at least slightly disturbed about the destruction of any historic religious landmark, let alone the Notre Dame cathedral. Their reaction is not only highly offensive but it is very telling; only a culture of HATE could celebrate something like this. Religion of peace they are not. More like a cult of hatred. Gee, wonder why they go so far to hide this in MSM?
Good way to think about it. Why would you expect a culture that condemns all other religions to death or servitude to see this as a sad event?
