"Hate" crimes are thought crimes. There are already enough laws on the books to put anyone who engages in this kind of behavior behind bars for a long time. No matter what color their skin.

I think what you are getting at is why wouldn't this be a hate crime when if the skin colors were reversed it certainly would be - and you are correct which is why I said what I did above. Our allowing this not melting of different races to continue (instead of holding everyone to the same standard as AMERICANS is causing crap like this to go on.
