New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio 🍸 said Monday he plans to crack down on "the classic glass and steel skyscrapers" because of their energy inefficiencies. While de Blasio does not appear to have plans to impose a blanket ban on glass and steel skyscrapers (i.e. all of them), he does intend to impose burdensome regulations that will hurt many building owners and discourage new construction.

I can only wonder what Democrats will come up with next...

When De Blasio rolls out his architect's vision for the new New York it's going to look like the Hobbit Shire from Lord of the Rings.

Sounds like we could cut back on a lot of hot air. Maybe we should look into straw as a building material.
