I seem to recall that before, or was it after, the 2020 Election there was a rumor about the Democrats wanting Biden to be a "Moderate" figurehead on the ticket to get their party the win and then have their VP take over for 2 terms which would give them 10 years to reshape America, this was all before Kamala and the disaster of the Biden Administration.

I imagine that there are camps in the DNC who've decided that 2 more years of Biden are all they'll probably get and want to make the most of those 2 years while others still want to get Biden out hoping that Kamala and a new VP might be able to pull things out for them. I think the DNC needs to take a lesson from their Chinese Comrades and reset for the Long Game. Hopefully before this long game can reach conclusion their board will disappear completely.
