From a RCMP member, I'm getting much the same information here in Canada (about the RCMP). Apologies to those members who have remained, despite the heavy pressures, honest and sincere about carrying out the work they were hired for.

I once had an extended family member who was a member of the FBI. I was shocked when he told me of the depth of the corruption in the FBI, which he described in the 90s as having been going on for decades before that. Its why he resigned long before retirement age. I asked if the FBI should have been disbanded, and he said "Yes, right after the war."
