If this is much ado about nothing in the overall scheme of conflict resolution in favor of Ukraine it could be an example of the Biden Administration using another tragedy to benefit their own agenda of weakening our economy and the overall degradation of our country. The fact that they also get to give false hope to Ukraine costing lives while costing Russia money is probably something they consider as a bonus.
I may be showing naivete here but it seemed before 2020 we were experiencing a growing open and positive relationship with Russia, we now appear to be wanting another Cold War relationship with someone who could've become an even stronger Allie or at least passable friends.
