There needs to be more options for students to obtain a core-curriculum, to enable them to pursue higher education or just to enable them to function expertly in a trade or guild. In recent modern society, churches (religions) have provided these options outside of the public education system. My opinion of what we need:

  1. Establish a Core-Curriculum
We need a purely academic model, where the role of education is to focus chiefly on the core-curriculum of matriculation-based learning. The make up of the core-curriculum should be inconsiderate to all outside influences such as religious or national cultures, linguistics, historical or even social-standing. The sole purpose of the core-curriculum should be to serve the needs of the student, not some radical woke agenda. Continuous Improvement should be a key guiding principle under-pinning the Core-Curriculum. Parental Rights needs to be another!
  2. Establish strict laws and guidelines around the powers and actions of School Boards
All School Boards must be committed to implementing and defending the Core-Curriculum. Activism by staff or boards within the educational system should be outlawed by punishment via licensing authorities and legal authorities combined.
  3. All Regional School Boards must be monitored and controlled by the Ministry of Education (or Department of Education in USA), to ensure the laws and regulations are followed and that school teaching staff and school boards are performing at their expected professional service levels. MoE/DoE should establish and administer universal examinations, issued at periodic intervals.
  4. Parental rights should be enshrined in all school board/educational laws and regulations

Let's start with this framework
