I posted this in the atheist group. Darwin's theory is just wrong on a lot of levels but no one will admit it.

@RafaelMspt - What would you replace Evolution with? Granted this video points to the shaky ground of our current understanding, but evolutionary science has moved forward and continues to work to answer its many problems. Of course I would reject any scientific theory that mandates an unguided history, testing of that theory would be impossible and outside the scope of science. This is why Darwinism should die, but I think there are still fruits to pursuing evolution.

@RobBlair I agree. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. But the scientific community views challenges to Darwin as heresy

@RafaelMspt I think a lot of animosity is due to prior religious dogma. Of course if I were an Atheist, I'd imagine that evolution, as a cosmic accident, would be a tenet of my faith.

It is a theory with much to recommend it and lots of problems. As an atheist I do not feel any particular connection with this explanation of the development of life. At the moment it is the only explanation close to making sense of life as we observe it. Having said that it is far from complete.
