I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding about "corona viruses". The thing that is rapidly turning into a pandemic is just a new variety or strain of such kinds of viruses. I believe the common cold is caused by a corona virus. Correct me if I am wrong about that - please.
The WHO and others are calling this one Novel coronavirus - which simply means "New" and not seen before now.
Like all such viruses the thing will be fatal to those already physically compromised - the aged, babies and small children, the infirmed and weak. If you are reasonably healthy; not morbidly obese; don't have heart or other similar maladies your body should be able to fight off this Novel coronavirus.
If they can't stop it (and it looks like they can't) it might be a good idea to tell your grandmother that you love her and give some thought to making preparations for death in the family. This thing is not going to wipe out the human race folks - it just isn't going to happen that way.

I think viruses are not treatable - once infected with a virus all we can do is to treat the symptoms - that is to say help the body fight the virus off.
