Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The AR15 Rifle is a very versatile rifle which can be accessorized in many ways and is a very reliable gun. The 5.56 round while not as powerful as the 308 or 3006 has a lot less recoil which allows for a lot quicker recovery when firing.

The likely hood of survival is much higher, admittedly you can fire more rounds per second, but with a 30.06 round you will bleed out shot in the leg let alone center mass. .223 black talon might make up for bullet weight with extra piercing power and core locked expantion
The .223 round was designed to wound, not to kill as wounded cause more disruption on the battlefield than dead soldiers do, it also means that if you use one for self defence the likely hood of the perp surviving is far greater than being shot w/a 30.06

You raise a good point there. Personally, I like the M4. I don't own an AR-15 and most likely wouldn't want one.
@SpikeTalon My choice is a SS Savage 30.30 and a S+W .45ACP
@808scotty Can't go wrong with a S&W.
@SpikeTalon It's the target quality E model as well in stainless w/ green laser and 600 lumen narrow beam spot light
