Google Searched: How many people die each year from common flu in US?
The CDC predicts that at least 12,000 Americans will die from the flu in any given year.
As many as 61,000 people died in the 2017-2018 flu season, and 45 million were infected.Feb 7, 2020.
Google didn't say so but I believe the numbers in the second sentence reflect global statistics.
