When you consider that this virus is still unproven to be a threat beyond the flu, the reaction of the reporter, saying that something must be done, when nothing like this has ever been done about the flu, seems to be only fanning the flames of panic. If the reporter asserted that surely everyone there would be getting the "flu" instead of "the virus," there would be no story, even though the flu is still more deadly by a magnitude, and may remain more deadly in the end.

@JVIP-WTPNN, Its possible that they saved lives doing that. If I was born there and had nothing to look forward to but poverty and suffering, and someone made that effort for me, I might not be very upset about it. I might even be grateful, and amused by the outrage in wealthy countries.
