[worldometers.info]

There is an inflection point in the number of cases and deaths in the US, according to the "Worldometer." We will not know if that will continue for a bit, but for now it is good news, and may indicate the relative flu-like character of the virus.

I have every confidence that measures such as ordering Ford and GM to produce ventilators, will mitigate the death toll predictions

I hope so.

Yes and no. They wanted to make a few, for prohibitively expensive costs and very slowly. That's why Trump lost his patience with their profiteering attitude.

I haven't been able to find out from anywhere, is it known whether you can develop immunity after having it? Have you seen any authoritative answer on that?

So far no one has been able to give any definitive answers. It's all a new game although it's like the others.

Actually, there are several medical opinions I have read that say immunity should follow the normal course, because the virus is almost identical to the standard coronanvirus, except the attachment points are more efficient. It will remain in the circulation as have the flu and the common cold since the beginning of humankind. Those all began like this one, and gradually lost potency with time.
