Obama made the Mexican cartels priority number 1 for the FBI. The cartels are a big risk to the US as well as Mexico. The China Virus or Kung Flu is likely to have a big impact on the drug cartels as it has slowed down shipments and conversely slowed there cash flow. It would be a good time to crank up the heat on the cartels.

I have been ranting about this for years. President Trump does what other presidents did not do. NAVY will be gearing up (Ships already have left Norfolk, Va, worlds largest Navy base)to interdict Drug traffickers. Drugs kill at least 80 million in U.S. Alone not counting the total crime toll. How can we worry about a nearly no show virus (in compassion) compared to 80 million dead from Mexican drugs?

The opioid epidemic in the U.S is a growing(home grown)problem. The war on illicit drugs was lost years ago. Prescription(legal) drugs is a more difficult beast to deal with because corporations pay good money to politicians. Trump sending U.S ships to tackle a lost war is a feeble attempt at distracting from the chaos caused by his misinformation, pettiness and outright lies regarding covid 19.
