Small minds and rumors are ammunition to the Trump-hating left. <sigh> They still have not realized they're either shooting blanks or themselves in their feet. It's hard to believe there are people of this low-character, intelligence, and qualifications holding esteemed offices such as Surgeon General.

Incompetence is a must have quality to hold office these days

The Surgeon General was in a meeting of those attempting to address tobacco dangers, well before most of us knew much about COVID-19, and before the President declared a state of emergency. So it was reasonable to compare the virus to tobacco danger.

The media today is comparing the virus to deaths from war. That is far worse. They are NOT comparing COVID-19 deaths to tuberculosis or flu, because then it would seem not dangerous, and not politically useful.
