I do agree that liberals have a difficult time having a conversation with opposing sides because they tend to stay on the most "virtuous side"(protecting, defending, and speaking for what they believe is a valid oppressed person) The problem with that is oppression can be dissected in so many forms woman, black woman, lesbian black woman, gay male, and depresssed transgender male etc...These "opressions" are "opressions" in a sense that anything you allow to hold you back in life is an "oppression" but as a human being we need to learn to carry this burden and as jordan peterson says something like" be the man who can hold your family together at your parent's funeral."
Another problem with "liberals" is that they seek to destroy conversation because most their points don't hold water(a few I find inferiating are the "gender pronouns" that discredit biology).Their arguments are based off feelings, thus they resort to name calling; any of the -isms to dissuade you and demolishing your character without debating your points at hand. This can be entirely frustrating but anyone who resorts to attacking another's character only has so much to call before it doesn't matter and run out of ammunition. Don't let them dissaude you, let them finish off their ammo and continue your points. If they keep resorting to their -isms and not their insane logic move on. Unfortunately we can't affect everyone.
