There are many smart voices who have been warning of this and clearly describing the signs we have seen before in the Bolshevik Revolution, the Weimar Republic, the Cultural Revolution, Cambodia, the Congo, Cuba... The examples are almost endless. And socialist states not propped up by capitalism? Zero. Deaths due to capitalism? None. Deaths due to socialist experiments? 100 million. Do you think those millions thought they were going to be killed in a revolution? Do you think they lined up to be killed? No. None of them believed it would happen.
