Take that Garcetti! Where are the rest of our Churches? We all might just have some respect for you, if you would just stand for what you believe!

I think there are many more churches meeting than you might think. They are simply flying under the radar either because they are not advertising it (not looking for trouble) or they are not as prominent as GCC. But I know that there are some churches that refuse to meet as a matter of conscience rather than simply cowardice. For the debate among churches on this issue, I have offered a sample here:

The linked article is entitled "Is it Time for Civil Disobedience? Two Perspectives," and the perspective discussed as advocating civil disobedience was actually written by John MacArthur of GCC. I agree with him.

Wow! That was powerful, and having a police officer lead the prayer was a very nice touch under the circumstances!

I love that he quoted Psalm 91 - that was my grandmother's favorite Psalm.
