Do not imagine, comrades, that leadership is a pleasure! On the contrary, it is a deep and heavy responsibility. No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?

yes but the math is not the lesson here. The lesson is blind obedience - nothing less than complete capitulation of your own sanity, your own person and personality to the authoritarian regimes whims. "if we say 2+2=5 then you MUST not merely nod your head in tacit agreement but proclaim loudly that 2+2=5

It’s part of a larger war on the notion of objective truth. It’s what happens when post-modern deconstructionist thought escapes the universities and turns up in a real world no longer able to determine what that world is. When sll concepts of reality are mere social constructs, there is no objective truth. All that remains is political truth, that which furthers the narrative favorable to your faction.
