Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.If citizens are going to leave it to law enforcement to confront protesters, they need law enforcement to do their job. If law enforcement are going to do their job, they need prosecutors, etc. to do their job. If prosecutors, etc. are going to do their job, they need executives and legislatures to enact policies that enable that.
No one wants civilians confronting criminals any more than civilians want their lives and livelihoods in jeopardy!
