Mike Rowe: I don't want to pay for your useless college degree-
[thefederalist.com]
Amen, Mike. Most colleges and universities have considerable wealth. If you want to eliminate student debt, start there. If colleges don't want to forgive debt, why pass it on to the taxpayer? Did anyone ask me if their kid's 4-year degree was worth $200,000? If nothing else, these students and their parents have learned an important lesson in avoiding debt. Do they not think the education provided was worth it? Colleges and universities are famous for charging exorbitant fees. We choose whether or not to pay them, just like any other purchasing decision. It's pretty simple.
