My problem is, I'm not smart enough to see how to get out of the trap. All I know how to do is not participate in the social economic obligations to the best of my ability. That means becoming the opposite of a consumer to any degree possible and being as independent and self reliant as possible. But, as far as I can tell, full freedom from the system is not possible because you cannot ever own land outright, without tax or restrictions placed upon it. If there were a way to own a piece of land outright then, true independence is only hindered by how much of your consumption is produced by yourself on that land.
