Before November 2020 the question below seemed laughable:

As each day passes since the coup d'etat of 2020 in USA the question -

"What will the US Military do and whom will they side with"

becomes more and more valid.

I had no idea: was it just all a play? How the military supported Trump that executive order that Flynn said wasn't true? I feel...played, and don't want to consider anything anymore.

Seems EVERYTHING is something else, doesn't it? Except for scams, fraud: those are real, the rest make believe.
Sorry if I sound..negative, but do tell me the positive?

I always thought of my default mindset regarding political analyses as "realistic" - objective realist.

The problem is that ever since the day when Nixon was forced out of office we have been in this downward spiral toward socialism.
The Reagan presidency was an unexpected (unexpected by the CPUSA) interruption and delayed the plans of those who have now made the Socialist take over of USA a fait acompli. Once Reagan left office the Socialist picked right up where they left off.

I don't think of myself as a pessimist. I simply never saw any value in "seeing things as I wished them to be".

Trump et al is NOT going to swoop in and save the day - neither will God. The clouds of war - civil war (which will inevitably lead to war with foreign enemies of USA) are now on the horizon - visible and getting closer every day.

I believe our Military leadership is now in a bit of a quandary. It's a bit too early for them to commit one way or the other. They will soon have to decide if their oath to loyally uphold the US Constitution is more important than their own possible political ambitions.

For at least the last 12 years I have been of the belief that USA cannot - will not "win" another war if that war requires American boots on the ground in foreign lands.
We would have to use full commitment with our carriers, subs, missiles, satellites ...- our "troops" are terribly diminished in many ways - Number, fitness for battle, commitment and loyalty to their own Country.
As for civil war our military will eventually be forced to make a choice to either defend the US Constitution and the American People themselves or side with the newly installed Socialist cabal now in power.

@iThink We want to think that but I bought the Trump stuff which Flynn said untrue, so I've really rethought things.
Surely Trump knew this theory, never said one way or the other.
I think he failed the American people.

It feels as if we're waiting for something, we know not what.

I think of the slogan 'can't get good help, znd it's sure true in politics.
Do you NEED all those people drawing wages?
