I am certainly glad that I had children when I was younger, although my wife was a bit older. We were married when I was 21, and she was 27, and we had the first of our three children when I was 24, and she was 30. Now we have three grown children and six grandchildren and, at 55, I'm still young enough and energetic enough, as is my wife, to enjoy spending time with those grandchildren. Lord willing, we will both live long enough to see great grandchildren as well. Matt was right about the joy of it all, despite the difficulties.
