Not only from the standpoint of a committed Christian, but also from the standpoint of a patriotic American, I agree with Michael's take on the song Imagine. It has got to be the worst song John Lennon ever wrote. He came up with a beautiful, haunting melody, and then added horrible, secular humanist, communist lyrics. Granted, John Lennon had a penchant for sometimes ruining what could have been a great song with some terrible lyrics, but this one takes the prize for the worst. The guy has written, or co-written, some of the best songs I have ever heard, but unfortunately also some of the worst.
