In this summer of my profound discontent I've been finding some solace in this 1994 CD by Shoes. Order, harmony, melody, and guitar riffs that derive from 1966-era Beatles, and a little crunch from, maybe, Badfinger or 1972-era Who. A great band that never hit the big time.
