Alas, the scrap metal prices are so high most junkyards have closed after selling off their stock for scrap. It becomes more and more difficult to find the parts for antique vehicles and equipment.

Nothing before 1970 is going to the junkyard anymore. Everyone knows they will make more than scrap from the parts, that is if the car body is rusted out or there is no title.
This is especially true since they are now making full reproduction bodies which cost 8-20 grand. That tells you how hard it is to find usable bodies anymore.
