The leftists' picture of the peaceful, noble natives persecuted, enslaved and massacred by the Europeans is totally false. Anyone on this side of the globe who lived as the lefties describe would have been easy pickings for the rest of the Native Americans who lived violent and rapacious lives just as the Asians, Africans and Europeans did. It was the conversion of the Europeans to Christianity that slowly weaned them from the urge to pillage and plunder anyone who was vulnerable, and only the Jews in Asia lived such a life before Christ. Without the morals and ethics of God in our lives, we humans are totally depraved in our treatment of one another.
