Comment left on twitter by Glenn Greenwald with which I take slight issue:
"In so many ways, the Trump era caused so many institutions (especially journalism) and other societal sectors to relinquish any ethical constraints, obligations to truth, or limits of any kind. Once you get convinced you're fighting Hitler, anything and everything is justified"
I disagree with Greenwalds premise that "the Trump era caused..."
I believe the Trump presidency did NOT "cause" societal sectors to "relinquish ethical constraints" -
The Trump presidency - Trump himself merely EXPOSED (Did not "cause" ) members of those institutions for the collectivist, globalist (see socialist/communist) America hating drones that they are - and have been so for at least 3 generations

After Trump there's a sexual deviant dullard who hasn't the brain power to speak in a coherent manner and he's a glove puppet for some evil trolls.
Trump's Presidency just illuminated what was already there.
