But now the West is listening because it has become politically advantageous to do so for themselves, no other reason. And now we're stuck in the middle of a shitfight between socialist dictators again, just like in WW2.

Poland warned of the Russian threat while the EU, along with the WEF, tried pretty hard to prevent the rise of nationalism there. And tried to divide the nation. If I remember correctly, sanctions were placed against Poland and Hungary because of their failure to bend to EU mandates that would have weakened the two countries with open borders and social unrest.

Yep - Poland & Hungary took a strong stand against the EUSSR regarding the EUSSR's demand for open borders - its their right to protect their people & their culture & they decide who can enter their countries - as it should be!
Hungary's Orban is a strong leader & will not be dictated to - rightfully.
Gorbachev referred to the EU as the Old Soviet Union dressed in western clothing - hence my reference to EU as EUSSR.
I was in Slovakia the day they (stupidly) joined the EU.
The thing that really gets me is all these Putin apologists who claim most if not all the Ukrainian civilian casualties is totally made up by the Ukrainian Government, then how does one rationally explain the influx of Ukrainian immigrants to surrounding countries and the US taking in 100,000 refugees? Why are that many people fleeing if there wasn't any genuine concern for their safety? Obviously such claims regarding said civilian casualties are very real, despite the Putin puppets wanting to believe otherwise.

They're delusional if they cannot face the fact that Ukraine is being destroyed by MadVlad Putin & at the moment there are 3.5million Ukrainian refugees.
Poland has taken in most & Slovakia has taken many - I have relatives in Slovakia & friends in Hungary they are very nervous! I've lost contact with my relative in Kyiv unfortunately.
Australia will take Ukrainian refugees also.
More than 3 million people have fled Ukraine in the weeks since the start of Russia’s invasion. Europe hasn’t seen an exodus of this scale and speed since World War II. Equally unprecedented is the welcoming attitude that countries neighboring Ukraine have had toward these refugees.
Don't you find it weird though, that 30% or so of these 'Ukrainian' refugees are of African or middle eastern appearance? It's almost like all those refugees trying to get into Poland on the Belorussian border found another way out
Disgraceful, low-lifes!! Taking advantage of the suffering of genuine Ukrainians & the destruction of Ukraine to gain entry & no doubt welfare.
They should be deported back to their countries!!
I'm sure Ukrainians want to return to Ukraine once MadVlad's invasion is over rather than be refugees in other countries - not like those Africans, Indians & MiddleEastern welfare bludgers!
@w0tn0t the whole situation is a geo-political cluster fuck with the WEF neck deep in shit pointing all blame on Russia/Putin. Both sides are bad and at fault, and civilians all around the world are paying the price for the globalists,dictators and assorted psychopaths playing their power games.
@Tom81 I agree, the WEF is a globalist dictatorial mob and needs to be eradicated - however is not justification for Putin to invade Ukraine, targeting civilians, destroying their country.
These globalist are worldwide - and each country, the people, need to take the matter in hand, not any other tyrant, like Putin
