This is a follow-up to a post I did earlier regarding Disney's wokeism. Out of all the recent Disney reboots, one that seems to be getting alot of attention is the live-action Pinocchio, which I think came out last week. Based on trailers I've seen on that movie, Disney went all in on the political correctness, most notably the blue fairy who now appears to be a black guy regardless of the fact said fairy was not depicted like that in Carlo Collodi's classic tale. I've no desire to waste my time on such politically correct nonsense, and instead will be looking forward to Guillermo del Toro's stop motion animated version of Pinocchio coming out in December, which appears to not be as nearly politically correct.
