Instant Gratification Blitzkrieg (Andrei Martyanov)

Sound bites and fast food have spoiled the people from doing the real work that must be done to be informed and to wage kinetic warfare. In 1942, it looked as though the Axis could not be stopped wherever they attacked. Then came a series of defeats, Midway Atoll, First and Second El Alamein, and biggest of all, Stalingrad. These were the high water marks for the Axis and the rest of the war was all retreats. But Sir Winston Churchill was right when he said, "This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is the end of the beginning." It took two and a half more years of blood and sweat to end the scourge of the Axis from the Earth. Lots of hard work, suffering and sacrifice. This generation could not do that.
