I understand that the phone bots are annoying but if you do not do it this way ; then Covered California will try to talk you into starting a new plan that costs 8 times more than what you are currently paying . California will give you a tax penalty for every month you are not insured but that will still cost you less money than being fooled into paying more for a new plan every year .
