Started off studying Political Economy. I learned much from the leftist critique of traditional economic theory as well as discovering the evils of neo imperialism as practiced by US corporations in league with what might be called the military industrial complex. Murder for profit should not be acceptable to any decent person, whatever their political persuasion.
Moved on to philosophy where I was fortunate to encounter academics and peers who turned out to be some of the greatest teachers and philosophers in the world.
It was at this time, around the mid 80's, that I discovered the evils of postmodernism and feminism and the general corruption of much of what passes for the liberal arts.
