In August, the gun shop owner told CBS 2, Williams allegedly violated the conditions of his electronic monitoring agreement. Yet for some reason, the court ordered the bracelet be removed and the Cook County State’s Attorney didn’t object, CBS 2 reported.
After the monitoring bracelet was removed, Williams allegedly robbed two Walgreens stores in Chicago. Four days after one of those robberies, he returned to the store and allegedly stabbed 32-year-old clerk Calderon 10 times. Calderon died from her injuries.
Cook County State's Attorney - that's Kim Foxx, right? I know she won her 2020 primary... I'm guessing there's no way she won't be reelected...

I live in central Illinois, just about a 2-hour drive south/southwest of Chicago, and we often refer to Cook County, where Chicago is, as "Crook County." You've just seen another reason why.
