What do you think, or know from precedent, Judge Barrett's position on mail-in voting and the integrity of the elections is?

Given that this is an issue this election cycle, how this new SCOTUS appointee opines may certainly be a huge factor in who the next president is.

Many SCOTUS nominees are circumspect about their position on issues in advance, for good reason. We may not know her position on mail-in voting for a while, however, given her record, her support of mail-in voting would be surprising.

@TheMiddleWay, I will give this one try with you.

Given that she is an "originalist," the Constitution is centered on citizenship as the requirement to vote. While it leaves proof to the States, it is a matter of law.

@TheMiddleWay. No. Best you read the Constitution.

@TheMiddleWay. What do you think?

@TheMiddleWay, Then read the Constitution.

@TheMiddleWay. If you are looking for some kind of statement supporting her position, I need none. I can look at her record and deduce what her vote will be. I have told you how. I see nothing inconsistent with her record, nor anything "surprising" in what she has said, nor any dissonance with the President. That is all in your mind as far as I can tell. Why?

don't know but I'll bet Justice Roberts is gnashing his teeth over the appointment of Barrett to the SCOTUS. LOL

Actually, Barrett's confirmation might well be a welcome one for Roberts, since he was seemingly manipulated by the lunatic left, with whatever leverage they have on him, even if it is just his own perpetuated fear of the MSM, to be their regular swing vote in the SC. The pressure on him going forward should be considerably less, and who knows, he might even find some of the true conservative perspective he was appointed for but spinelessly lost once confirmed.

@NonAgrssvMight good point
