You’re either racist or antiracist; there’s no such thing as ‘not racist’
Most people I know who would say that they are "not racist" would also say that they are against racism and that this is why they say they are not racist. At any rate, I don't like the way the discussion is framed by this guy Ibram X. Kendi, because it assumes as fact the kind of "systemic racism" he claims to exist and therefore claims to require a more forceful statement of everyone as being "anti-racist" and of somehow being actively involved in combating racism in the ways he thinks are correct. But what if such systemic racism as he supposes does not really exist? And what if there is, therefore, nothing to combat in the ways that he thinks to be correct? In that case everything he says is just more Leftist nonsense aimed at shaping the way people must speak in order to satisfy his Leftists agenda. It is just another pathetic attempt at manipulation and shaming. As for me, I'm not racist, and I'm not going to play his stupid and insidious game.
