Well, hello everyone. I was thinking, "level 1? How do I get the Ebony Armour?" but this isn't that sort of place.
Truthfully, I could do with a place where I could have an interesting discussion with people about the ills of the world and modern politics, without having the inevitable and depressing trudge towards Godwin's Doom, and where I can test run ideas without the mob screaming. I suppose you all know what I mean.
Currently, like everyone else with a pulse in the UK, I'm exasperated by Brexit, with an even split between disgust at the May tendency, for idiotically thinking that there was any sort of credible position labelled "Bremainer", and dumbfounded shock at the Brexiteers, with "what do you mean, 'we haven't actually got a plan'"?
Its all very depressing, yet hilarious at the same time.

Hello Macnadoodle.
I was under the impression that it would take at least 5 years for the UK to disentangle itself from some of the contracts but it was doable. That "what do you mean we haven't actually got a plan" is being fought against in your house isn't it? I wonder are you pro or con exit?
(unenchanted pieces of ebony armor start dropping around level 32)

To be honest, on the day, I actually found myself staring down at the ballot paper with a totally blank mind. I asked my gut, and my gut said "LEAVE!!!". I've rationalised it since, though with the arguments falling into essentially two camps - the Remainers being emotionally hurt at the thought of leaving, with the business and justified political arguments being that "this will take the very devil to untangle - can't we just stay?" whilst the Leave arguments seem to be at a fundamental notch above, equally emotional but at a "if we don't leave our votes will count for nothing as we will only have sock puppets to vote for". I think the Establishment was genuinely shocked at the result, but down here (I'm in the S West), there's a huge resentment against the EU for the loss of fishing rights, and only some mild mutterings about immigrants, as there are few here. As time has passed, I've also known some people who voted remain, have switched to the Leave camp, so I think a second referendum would also have a shocking result.
Amongst my son's generation, the EU Copyright directive articles 11 and 13 (basically shutting down Youtube and meme culture for control reasons) is having a huge impact amongst teens, and I've an old mate who's a passionate leaver (and slightly autistic) who can quote you every single instance of why the EU is really the coagulation of Europe into the USSE.
I'd better get making daggers, then - or at least power my way through Bleak falls Barrow and level up that way.
