This video surfaced for me right when I became aware of just how fragile society can be. The realization that the Syrian conflict for the majority of the Syrian Population would be akin to the experience most of us in the United States would undergo is shocking to me. Students, families, neighbors, laborers...in a country that cannot NOT be called modern.
My focus is turning to the question of how we can prevent this from occuring here. First I have to determine if it is not too late.
