What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

(it is assumed that they are two entities)

I would say that there is no such thing as an unstoppable force, or an immovable object. Ultimately mass will determine which one prevails if they collide. I think.

Everything continues at an atomic level allowing both to continue on with their state of existence. The unstoppable force permeates the immovable object only to continue its course once it has made it past the immovable object.

I'm no expert so this should be taken with a grain of salt.

Superman (fictional character) said "They surrender"
