This world is so unfair...

Two year old Ava had terminal cancer and dreamed of visiting a farm for the first time, having spent half her life in lockdown.

A few weeks ago, her family and the local community rallied round to make her dream come true. Officers from our Mounted Branch had the honour of being invited and met Ava in person.

Sadly, little Ava passed away last week.

To remember her strength and bravery, officers have named their newest police horse 'Ava' and provided the family with a memory they can treasure.
