Can you give an example of a time when you thought, "why can't my kids think?"

If they are attending our Public School System, then they are being taught how NOT to think for themselves. Period.

I think, that when you're young it's much harder to practice independent thought. For several reasons. Not only does it take a long time to develop those skills of real analytical thought but also to grow the confidence to do it takes time.

Theres so many challenges involved with critical, analytical thinking. You have to not only be confident in not going along with societal and popular assistance, but you have to be able to challenge yourself. Many people are never able to do that, let alone in the early years.

They're being indoctrinated by the lame-stream media, feminists like Hillary, Pelosi and Kim Kardashian and the deep state wants them to be stupid so they push them to go to learning institutions run by avowed communists.

You must have teenagers! Too soon we get old, too late we get smart!

Ours went through over a year of BLANK! Then suddenly he was among the living again and once I realized that he was firmly back in his own body I asked him what the heck happened.

He thought for a moment and said. " Yeah, THAT was weird. "

Feeling frustrated? The last part of the human brain to fully develop is the prefrontal cortex; the brain develops from the back to the front. Why is that important? The prefrontal cortex is responsible for executive functions or rational thought. Teens process information with the amygdala. This is the emotional part of the brain. No worries the prefrontal cortex is usually fully developed by the age of 25.

None of my business, but a little context... How old are your kids? How old are you?
They've literally been saying 'kids these days' since the time of Plato; wasn't Socrates put to death for corrupting the youth?
I don't know how together I was as a teenager. I didn't stare at screens as much as they do nowadays but I was definitely part of the first video game generation. My mom thought my brain was turning to mush and I turned out alright (software developer) so I'm not too worried about my kids just yet.
I was into music a whole lot more than kids seem to be these days, but I'm getting my young daughter into guitar. Took her to see Foo Fighters! 🙂
I may be almost 50, but I can tell you I'm a lot younger than my mom was at 50! Don't remember her taking me into the mosh pit like I did with my kids!
I don't know you, and I don't want to judge, but maybe you're just feeling old.
