Does Santa Claus exist? Maybe not as a physical being but as something that Humanity has created and fostered into reality. Can the same be said of God? We created it so it's real?

Do all things exist only in the mind? I mean a sunset is real...if you see it.
@Freeken1 We can prove the sun exists...
@SpikeTalon how? How do we know what it is made of? Are you personally sure it isn't a big heat lamp? And how?
@Freeken1 Photo evidence, and for argument's sake even if it is just a heat lamp we can readily observe it.
My opinion: They are ideas, so they are real as far as any idea is real. Things in the imagination are real, but to exist, in any meaningful sense of the word, they must have actual tangibility.

Can you hang a picture of Santa on your wall? Take photos of your kids on his lap? If you have never been to Australia are you sure it's real?
